Registration
Students are required to pay fees, register and enroll every term throughout their program. Deadlines are posted on the DLPHS website: http://www.dlsph.utoronto.ca. Students who fail to do so cannot receive a credit or grade for their work. Retroactive registration is not permitted.
Pre/co-requisites

This is a required course for all first year MSc and PhD students in Biostatistics.

Objectives
It is intended to provide students with an opportunity to learn, or have some exposure to, a variety of current advanced statistical methods used in health sciences research.
Format
Seminars will be given by faculty members and guest speakers. In addition, informal presentations and group discussions led by senior PhD students will also be arranged.
Evaluation
Participation 30%
In-class Presentation 10%
